"No culture can live if it attempts to be exclusive." - Gandhi

Author Julie Vaudrin-Charette

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Ottawa. My research focuses on intersections between languages, place-based learning, and reconciliation in Quebec’s colleges. I am a strong advocate for reconsidering internationalization and indigenization processes through an ethical-relational lens. I grew up in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, on the unceded territory of the Innus, and now work as curriculum advisor at Cégep de l’Outaouais, in Gatineau, unceded Anishnabeg territory.
